Forgot to write this post while brewing, so don’t have my notes for hardness and water treatment!
The grapefruitiness will come from some Cold Pressed Grapefruit Extract from The Malt Miller, rather than grapefruit peel as BrewDog suggest. That’s what I did last time and we really enjoyed the result (which is why I’m doing it again!). The entire 15ml bottle went in the 20 litre batch, post fermentation. If memory serves, I added it when I racked it into the keg, to minimise any aroma losses.
